Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

Upgrades can be applied to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, as well as gathering tools in order to raise their item level. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the type of item.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be placed into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being utilized. item upgrades can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Some upgrade items have special visual effects that are visible when they are applied. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma traders or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or acquired as rewards in game.
There are various upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions can be used with any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are used in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enhancements are utilized for certain ascended back items. Inserting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. Exceptions are glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and reinserted freely.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will display the number of upgrades that have been added to it.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be added into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters along with normal glyphs, such as em dashes, en dashes, registered trademark symbols and glyphs that do not appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives an initial boost to the stats of the character. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied by other bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item in that each weapon, jewelry or armor piece can have a different set of available Glyphs.
Glyphs can be improved through the use of Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll gain. Once a Glyph is at level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading item upgrade increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a Glyph is upgraded to its desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonus when certain conditions are satisfied.
Click the cycle widget to alter the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each view will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs further using an option beneath "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs; Math Symbols narrows the choice to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to access the character or weapon you are interested in. It can assist you in gaining more experience or to gain more loot, for example, the best weapon for your current character. A lot of players will reroll until the character they want is available, regardless of ability. It could be that they like the design or the personality of the character.
When you reroll, you need be sure that the changes you're making are clean. You should test locally to see if the patch passes the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. Upload the patch with a clear difference to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls may take days or weeks, depending on how lucky you are. During this period, you should avoid any optional enemy camps to avoid wasting time. Additionally, you should avoid re-doing any quests that could be completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is to be sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to enhance your character's strength and appearance. This could include upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and buying upgrades. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling may not be necessary however it can be an effective way to increase your chances of obtaining an item or character. It can be used to find the best character or to experiment with different playstyles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as intersection, union and difference.

When you upgrade an item, it becomes an entirely new version that is better than the previous version. For armor and weapons this means that it gets an increased base defense value and less strength requirements and a lower amount of requirement.
Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items into parity with their higher-tier set counterparts. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to an Elite Spired helmet will increase the defense from 217 to 321 and reduce the strength requirements and levels to an achievable range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzler staff are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't require upgrading. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may be benefited by an upgrade to increase their performance. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
